Commercial Grade Simplex, Duplex and Multi-Channel Fiber Optic Assemblies
OCC provides complete system integration services for fiber optic assemblies using commerical grade fiber cable. For simplex or suplex cable, OCC specifies standard single mode SMF28 or multi-mode Gardex Index, available in 2.5mm, 2.0mm or 1.8mm jacket diameters. For fiber counts greater than 2 fiber, OCC typically specifies our Indoor/Outdoor rated breakout cable that accommodates simplex connectors (LC,SC,ST,FC) and featuring crimp sleeve systems that accommodate 2.0mm OFCCs (optical fiber cable component). For distribution style cable, OCC will typicaly build out the breakout members (typically 900um tight buffer jacket) using fuctation tubing extruded with Kevlar and crimped to various commerical style connector systems (LC,SC,ST,FC, MT-RJ). All simplex/duplex or multi-channel assemblies are 100% tested for insertion loss and tested for return loss when single mode fiber is applied. Single mode assemblies are polished with advanced polishing machines and yield end face geometry in accordance with GR-326 standards. Individual interfermetric test reports can be supplied for single or multi-mode assemblies, at an additional cost.
